New Cityscapes
Top: Manhattan 2 56 x 76cm (22" x 30") Above: Brooklyn and Verrazzano Narrows 56 x 76cm I have been working for some months on a new series of paintings based on elevated views of large cities, following visits to a number of suitable locations in New York, London, and other large cities in the last couple of years. I have made a great effort to work in a looser way, in order to achieve a more contemporary feel. Here are a few of the resulting works.
